FAQ for Baptism Sessions
How long is the session?
Our standard baptism session includes 1 hour of coverage, which typically covers the ceremony and a short family portrait session. Additional time can be added if you’d like photos of the celebration afterward or extended family portraits.
How many photos will we receive?
You’ll receive approximately 100 lightly edited images per hour (color corrected, not retouched), delivered in high resolution via an online gallery. Full editing and retouching can be added for selected images upon request.
When should we book?
As early as possible - preferably 2–4 weeks in advance - to secure your preferred date. Baptism dates, especially on weekends, fill up quickly.
What should we wear?
Neutral, pastel, or classic tones photograph beautifully and suit the occasion. Babies usually wear a christening gown or traditional baptism outfit. Parents and godparents should opt for elegant, modest attire appropriate for church.
Can we take family photos too?
Yes! We highly recommend taking family portraits before the ceremony, while the baby is well-rested and content. It helps avoid post-ceremony tiredness and gives us more flexibility with lighting and posing.
Is photography allowed during the ceremony?
Many churches allow photography, but some have restrictions. Please speak to your priest or church coordinator in advance to confirm permission and any specific rules.
Note: Churches are often dimly lit. To capture high-quality images while preserving the sacred atmosphere, we may use continuous video lighting instead of flash. It is gentle, non-disruptive, and essential for producing clear, professional photos. Please get prior approval from your church for light usage and inform them during scheduling.

What if my baby cries or gets fussy?
That’s completely normal and expected! We work with care and patience, capturing natural moments full of emotion, even if things don’t go exactly as planned.
Do you offer rush delivery?
Yes, for an additional fee. Standard delivery is within 2–3 weeks.
Can we order prints or albums?
Absolutely. We offer heirloom-quality prints, framed artwork, and beautiful custom albums that preserve this special day for generations.
Video Coverage of the Baptism Ceremony
We highly recommend adding video coverage to your baptism session to preserve the sounds, emotions, and sacred moments that photos alone can’t convey—like the priest’s words, baby’s reactions, and family blessings.
Our discreet videography captures every moment in cinematic quality, with minimal equipment to maintain the reverence of the event. A short highlight film (1–2 minutes) or full-length video can be added to any package.
If you’d like a video, please let us know in advance so we can prepare the proper gear and coordinate lighting approval with your church.
