When is the best time to schedule my Maternity Session?
We recommend scheduling your maternity session between 26-32 weeks. This is when your belly is beautifully rounded but before you become too uncomfortable. However, sessions can be done at any time before birth. Booking early ensures you get your preferred date.
What is included in the Maternity Session package?
The package includes:
- 8 fully edited images: After your session, you’ll review an unedited gallery to select your favorite images, which will be fully edited for a polished, professional look.
- 50 color-corrected images: These images undergo basic color adjustments and are available for high-resolution download.
The session typically lasts up to 1.5 hours and takes place in our Fairfax studio or at your preferred location.

Dress Options for Maternity Sessions
We offer a variety of dress options to help you look and feel your best:

Can I get my makeup and hair done before the session?
Yes, we offer professional makeup and hairstyling services for $350. This ensures you look and feel your best throughout your maternity session.
Can you travel to a location of our choice?
Yes! We offer travel to your chosen location within the DMV area for $250. This allows you to have your maternity session in a setting that holds personal significance or offers a beautiful backdrop.
How long does it take to receive the images?
It typically takes two weeks to receive your full gallery of unedited images, and an additional five days for the edited images. Please plan accordingly.
Can we get our images faster?
Yes, we offer an expedited service for an additional fee of $200. With this option, you'll receive your images within three working days.
Can I get additional images fully edited?
Yes! Additional images can be fully edited for $75 per image. This ensures your photos are professionally polished and ready for sharing or printing.
What if we get more than 50 images?
If we capture more than 50 images during your session, you have the option to purchase additional unedited images for $10 per image. If you'd like to review all the images individually and decide which ones to keep, you can schedule an additional consultation via Zoom or in person for $250 for 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can review the images directly on the camera right after the session at no extra cost.
What should I wear for the Maternity Session?
To ensure a comfortable and smooth session, avoid tight underwear or tights that can leave marks on your skin. We recommend wearing a robe or loose-fitting shirt that can easily be unzipped or changed during the photoshoot and makeup process. You should also bring a neutral strapless bra and strapless underwear to ensure smooth transitions during outfit changes and maintain comfort throughout the session.
Editing Process
As part of our maternity session editing, we focus on enhancing the final images by reducing swelling, smoothing skin tones, and refining the overall image quality. This process ensures you look your best while keeping the photos natural and authentic.
Rest During Your Session
We understand that maternity sessions can be tiring, so we encourage breaks during the session to ensure you remain comfortable and relaxed. This will help us capture the most radiant and beautiful moments.
What about prints and albums?
We offer high-quality prints and albums to preserve your maternity portraits:
- 12x12 album with 10 edited images (album only): $1000
- 16x24 print (canvas, acrylic, or metal): $800
How do I book my Maternity Session?
To book your session, simply contact us to reserve your spot. Maternity sessions fill up quickly, so it’s best to book early to ensure you capture this special time.
