When is the best time to schedule my Maternity Session?
 
We recommend scheduling your maternity session between 26-32 weeks. This is when your belly is beautifully rounded but before you become too uncomfortable. However, sessions can be done at any time before birth. Booking early ensures you get your preferred date.
What is included in the Maternity Session package?
 

All our packages are fully customizable.
The base session listed on our website includes the minimum order and number of people for each shoot. You can add from our list of additional services, such as professional makeup and hairstyling, extra setups, and beautiful dresses from our studio collection. Most clients opt for 20-30 edited images, but all extras are entirely optional and tailored to your needs.

Your BASE PACKAGE includes:

100 color-corrected images.
These images have undergone basic adjustments for brightness, contrast, and color but are not fully edited. The jpg files will be available for high-resolution download. If you plan to print or use these images on social media, we recommend ordering full editing for a polished finish.

Fully edited images.
After your session, you will receive your gallery and can select your favorite images and send to us. These selected images will be fully edited, focusing on details like smoothing the newborn’s skin and enhancing the overall aesthetic of the image. Each image will be carefully hand edited by us and send back to you. Cost of one edited image is 100$. You can choose any number of images you like for editing.

The session typically lasts 1 hour and takes place in our Fairfax studio or at your preferred location.

What styles can I choose for my Maternity Session?

What if I am late for my photoshoot?
 
We allow a 15-minute grace period. If you are 30 minutes late but would still like to continue the session, there will be an additional $150 fee, payable on the same day. If you are more than 40 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel the session without a refund. To avoid delays, especially when bringing small children, we recommend allowing extra time in the morning to prepare and accounting for potential traffic by planning an additional 30 minutes.
Can I add an extra outfit or setup?
 
Yes! You can customize your session with:

One outfit change: $100 (adds 15 min to your session)
Additional setup: $300 (adds 15 min and 30 jpg files to your session)

This adds variety and creativity to your maternity photos, allowing for different looks and themes.
What dress options for Maternity Sessions do you offer?
 
We offer a variety of dress options to help you look and feel your best:

Luxury Dress Rentals: $150
These premium gowns are perfect for creating a sophisticated, elegant look in your maternity photos. Our collection includes various colors, styles, and fabrics to suit your vision.
Adult Dresses: $100
A selection of simple and elegant dresses designed to highlight your natural beauty for a timeless and classic look.
Baby/Kids Outfits: $50
For family shots, we provide adorable outfits for babies and children that coordinate beautifully with your session’s overall theme.
Can I get my makeup and hair done before the session?
 
Yes, we offer professional makeup and hairstyling services for $350. This ensures you look and feel your best throughout your maternity session.
Can you travel to a location of our choice?
 
Yes! We offer travel to your chosen location within the DMV area for $500. This allows you to have your maternity session in a setting that holds personal significance or offers a beautiful backdrop.
How long does it take to receive the images?
 
It typically takes two weeks to receive your full gallery of unedited images, and an additional five days for the edited images. Please plan accordingly.
Can we get our images faster?
 
Yes, we offer an expedited service for an additional fee of $200. With this option, you'll receive your images within three working days.
Are photos and videos on my phone allowed?
 
If you wish to take photos or videos with your phone during the session, the photographer will grant you the time and space to capture your own images. However, the professional session will immediately stop, and no refund will be provided. Please note that this ensures the integrity and quality of the professional experience we offer.
Can I get my images fully edited?
 
Yes! We strongly recommend ordering the professional editing of your image. Your portraits  can be hand edited for $100 per image. This ensures your photos are professionally polished and ready for sharing or printing.
What if we get more than 100 images?
 
If we capture more than 100 images during your session, you have the option to purchase additional unedited images for $10 per image. If you'd like to review all the images individually and decide which ones to keep, you can schedule an additional consultation via Zoom or in person for $250 for 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can review the images directly on the camera right after the session at no extra cost.
What should I wear for the Maternity Session?
 
To ensure a comfortable and smooth session, avoid tight underwear or tights that can leave marks on your skin. We recommend wearing a robe or loose-fitting shirt that can easily be unzipped or changed during the photoshoot and makeup process. You should also bring a neutral strapless bra and strapless underwear to ensure smooth transitions during outfit changes and maintain comfort throughout the session.
What is your editing process?
 
As part of our maternity session editing, we focus on enhancing the final images by reducing swelling, smoothing skin tones, and refining the overall image quality. We carefully hand edit each image to ensure that you look your best while keeping the photos natural and authentic.
Do you allow rest during my Session?
 
We understand that maternity sessions can be tiring, so we encourage breaks during the session to ensure you remain comfortable and relaxed. You base package offers 30 min of extra time to change and get comfortable to achieve the best results during your photoshoot. When booking multiple set ups please rest assured that we will give you 15 min of break between each new set. This will help us capture the most radiant and beautiful moments for you to cherish for lifetime.
What about prints and albums?
 
We offer high-quality prints and albums to preserve your maternity portraits:

12x12 album with 10 edited images (album only): $1000
16x24 print (canvas, acrylic, or metal): $800
