When does the Christmas Mini Session season start?
Our Christmas Mini Sessions run from October to December. Many clients return each year to update their family portraits during the holiday season, so sessions book up quickly. Be sure to reserve your spot early to capture these special memories.
What is included in the Christmas Mini Session package?
The package includes:
5 fully edited images: After your session, you'll receive an unedited gallery to choose your favorite images, which will be fully edited for a polished, professional look.
50 color-corrected images: These images undergo basic color adjustments and are available for high-resolution download.
The session lasts up to 30 minutes and takes place in our Fairfax studio.

What if I am late for my Christmas Mini Session?
We allow a 15-minute grace period. If you are 30 minutes late but would still like to continue the session, there will be an additional $150 fee, payable on the same day. If you are more than 40 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel the session without a refund. To avoid delays, especially when bringing small children, we recommend allowing extra time in the morning to prepare and accounting for potential traffic by planning an additional 30 minutes.
Christmas Mini Sessions are scheduled back-to-back with only 15 minutes between. If you arrive 15 minutes late, this will count towards your session time, or you may face a long wait to fit you in later that day, with an additional $150 fee.
Additionally, please come fully dressed and prepared for your session. If you need to get ready at the studio, that time will be deducted from your session time. To avoid any issues, we recommend planning extra time to account for preparation and traffic.

Yes, we offer professional makeup and hairstyling services for $350. This ensures you look your best for your holiday photos.

How long does it take to receive the images?
It typically takes two weeks to receive your full gallery of unedited images, and an additional five days for the edited images. Please plan accordingly, especially if you need your images in time for holiday cards.
Can we get our images faster?
Yes, we offer an expedited service for an additional fee of $200. With this option, you'll receive your images within three working days. This is a great option if you're on a tight timeline and need your photos quickly.

Can I get additional images fully edited?
Yes! Additional images can be fully edited for $75 per image. This ensures that your photos are polished and ready for printing or sharing on social media.
What if we get more than 50 images?
If we capture more than 50 images during your session, you have the option to purchase additional unedited images for $10 per image. If you'd like to review all the images individually and decide which ones to keep, you can schedule an additional consultation via Zoom or in person for $250 for 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can review the images directly on the camera right after the session at no extra cost.
What should we wear for the Christmas Mini Session?
We recommend wearing traditional holiday colors such as red, green, gold, white, or blue, which create a classic and timeless look. Sweaters are also a great option for a cozy, seasonal feel. If you'd like to coordinate family outfits, our red family PJ set is available for rent, or you can choose from our baby/kids outfits or luxury dress rentals for a more elegant, festive look. You can also try unique themes like neutral winter tones or jewel tones for a modern twist.

Yes, pets are welcome for $150 per pet. You will be responsible for managing their behavior, potty needs, and food. Pets can add a fun and unique touch to your Christmas photos, but they must be well-behaved for a smooth session.
