How Can You Do The Perfect Lavender Themed Photoshoot?

Lavender fields look like they're straight out of a fantasy movie. The endless purple creates a magical aura that serves as a wonderful backdrop for a lavender-themed photoshoot.

That said, if you're like most people, you may be confused about how to pose in a lavender field. Sure, the fields are mesmerizing... but what am I supposed to do besides awkwardly standing in the middle? If this is the reason you are procrastinating your lavender-themed photoshoot, here are some ideas that will help you take the plunge.

1. Run Through the Fields

If lavender fields look like they belong in a fantasy movie, running through them feels like being in one of those movies. Yes, it may seem a little clichéd. But there's a reason why such pictures are so popular - you can almost never go wrong with them. If you want to make it more fun, include a friend, a partner, or even your kids in the photo as you all skip through the fields together.

2. Add Some Props

A straw hat, a bright scarf, and a basket full of lavenders can take your photos to the next level. You can sit on the rows of lavender with your hat on. Or you can walk through the fields with a basket in your hand, which is also a great opportunity to sneak in some posed candid photos.

3. Sun-Kissed

Lavender fields are also the perfect place to capture those glamorous sun-kissed photographs. However, these can be a little more complicated than your average photos. If you book a professional photographer for your lavender-themed photoshoot, your sun-kissed photos will come out even better than you could have imagined.

Make sure to wear comfortable and breathable clothing for your photoshoot. Since you will be walking around a lot in the sun, you don’t want to be wearing something that will make you sweat. The focus of the photoshoot is you and the lavender fields, so you don't need to wear elaborate clothes. And don't forget to carry some snacks and a lot of water.
